ᴿᴹ Afternoon Tea
An afternoon tea is an experience that you should do at least once if you're in London. There are different price points for this. The cheapest I have seen starts at £12 per person and the most pricey ones can cost around £100 per person, usually found in 5star hotels. You can choose from a selection of tea, accompanied by finger sandwiches, scones and sweet treats. Deceptively filling, so if you're going to book in for afternoon tea, treat it like it was lunch.
ᴿᴹ Zorbing
Zorbing, also known as orbing or sphering, is all about getting strapped inside a giant ball and rolling around some hills. Usually, takes place in large fields so it is likely that you would have to travel out a bit for this. As an activity, it can be a bit pricy, but this would be something you'd do once in your life so if you're looking for a bit of weekend adventure, zorbing may be the way forward.
ᴿᴹ Paintballing
If you're able to round up a group of fun friends all free on the same weekend, paintballing is a really fun thing you can do. Once at the location, you will be fitted into camouflage outfits, a mask and a chest protector. You will be given paintball guns and get divided into teams and you can start shooting at each other. Fun to check out all the bruising that happens in the end.
ᴿᴹ Cable Car Ride
The cable cars in London were put up around the time of the 2012 London Olympic Games. The people behind it thought it would be a good tourist attraction and it would also act as a different mode of transport for morning commuters. However, it hasn’t taken off like the tubes or buses have but nonetheless it is a fun way to get around the Docklands area and take in some beautiful views of London rivers.
ᴿᴹ Murder Mystery Dinner
You can get involved in an immersive experience such as a murder mystery dinner. You and other diners will sit together as actors come out and act out a play, giving you clues along the way. You will play detective and figure out who did the crime, what weapon was used, what was the motive, etc.. It is a game of Guess Who come into life.
ᴿᴹ Battersea Power Station
Battersea Power Station is a relatively new feature in London as a place to wander and spend some leisure time. When you come here, be sure to get onto the lift 109. It takes you 109 meters up and you can view a panoramic view of London.
