Recipe: Hummus


INGREDIENTS:

1 can of cooked chickpeas

3 tablespoons of tahini

1/2 lemon juice

2 garlic cloves

garlic granules (optional- for the garlic lovers)

pinch of salt

chilli flakes (optional)

cold water/ ice cubes


METHOD:

- Wash, rinse and peal all the chickpeas.

- Chop two garlic cloves.

- In a blender add in the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic and some cold water (if you have ice to hand, that would be better).

- Taste the mixture and add in a pinch of salt, chilli flakes and the garlic granules.

- Enjoy with cuts of cucumber, carrots and crackers.
