An alternative to strong floss and great way to see less of your dentist...
I have been using the Waterflosser Cordless Plus by Waterpik for some time now so it's about time I gave the internet my take on this.
In case anyone is wondering what is waterflosser; it is an oral irrigation system. It's similar to what a dentist uses, except it's a lot more affordable and I'm guessing has lower water pressure. It is a great alternative to string flossing and is ideal for people who wear braces or fixed retainers.
The Cordless Plus works on charge. To get a full charge, you would need to charge for 24 hours to ensure you get a full charge and this can last up to two weeks. And while in use, it can go for 45 seconds. If you feel that is not sufficient, you can add in more water to the tank and floss for a second time.
I love that it runs on charge. It's not as fiddly to use as a corded waterflosser and as the battery life on this is so good, you don't have to worry about running out of charge every few days.
Let's talk about the aesthetics. it's slim-lined and everything (i.e the water tank and attachments) fit perfectly onto the body, making it easy to store and easy to travel with. This model of the Waterpik also comes in a variety of different colours, including white, black, blue, purple and mint green.
There are different attachment heads that you can use for the Waterpik. They vary in their tips. They include the plaque finder, the pick pocket, the tongue scraper and the classic jet tip. Attachments slot into place easily. They are easy to remove and swap around by pushing on the top button.
There are two controls on this Waterpik; they are 'ON/ OFF' and 'Power I and Power II', making it really easy to use.
This was the second product I have used from Waterpik. The previous Waterflosser I used was Nano WP250/300 model. It was easy to draw comparisons between the two models and I can easily say between the two, I prefer the Cordless Plus. It's less fiddly to use, charge lasts for a long time, slim-lined and easy to grip, less complicated control system and easy to take on travels.
