If there is only one style you're going to do, let it be the top knot.

I love a top knot or a bun; it's a simple and easy style to do with no need for any extra tools, and that includes a clip or a hair tie. You do need to have some length in your hair; I'd say minimum elbow length hair.
To do this style, follow these simple steps:
- Gather all your hair and hold it as if you were going to do a pony tail.
- Hold your hair with your left hand
- Place your right wrist on top of the pony tail, hand open and facing up
- With your left hand, bring your hair up and place into the open palm of your right hand
- Twist the hair round, bringing it over from the left side to the right side and then under; this creates a loop
- Pull the rest of the hair through the loop. Any extra length that you have left over, you can twist and tuck in
- Voila! You have yourself a top-knot!
